Pictures of both fields, with same soils and fertility treatment, were taken July 17. The field on the right had been
sprayed with Biobased USA at the three-leaf stage. When the farmer noticed the difference between the two fields,
he sprayed the one on the left with Biobased USA about the time the pictures were taken

These pictures of the same two fields were taken on August 10. Due to the later spraying the field to the left had
recovered somewhat, but had not caught up with the field on the right, which had been sprayed at the three-leaf stage.
Both fields had received only 3/4 inch of rain since the seeds were planted.

This satellite view from an earlier year shows on each side of the road bare soils that are identical.
The field on the right (19 acres) is the one where the 2008 soybeans were sprayed at the three-leaf stage.
The field (13 acres) on the left side of the road is where the 2008 soybeans were sprayed later.
